Intro
Welcome to Sahab Caravans. These terms govern your stay with us in the highlands of Asir. We've written them plainly so you know what to expect from us, and we from you. By completing a booking request you agree to them. We want your stay to be calm and simple, and our relationship to begin with clarity and trust.
Booking is a request
With us, a booking begins as a request, not a confirmation. When you send your request we review it ourselves, check the caravan and dates are free, and reply within four hours. No caravan is held and no date is guaranteed until we approve your request and receive the full value of your stay. Accepting or declining a request rests with us alone, with no obligation to give reasons.
Payment
Payment is by bank transfer to the account we send you after approving your request. The full value of the stay is paid in advance to secure the booking; there is no partial or deferred payment at this stage. After approval you have a twenty-four-hour window to complete the transfer, after which the offer expires and the date is released to others automatically. Please write your booking reference in the transfer description so we can match your payment to your request. Prices are in Saudi Riyals, and Sahab Caravans is not currently registered for VAT.
Confirmation
Your booking is confirmed only once we have received the full value of the stay and sent you a confirmation message bearing your booking reference. Any correspondence before that — including approval of the request — remains provisional and creates no final obligation on us to host.
Cancellation & refunds
If you cancel seven days or more before check-in, we return the full amount. Cancellation within the seven days before check-in is non-refundable, as the date was held for you and closed to others. For documented medical emergencies we review each case individually and with understanding; the decision remains at our discretion. A no-show without notice is treated as a late cancellation.
Changing dates
Changing the dates of a confirmed stay is possible subject to availability and our prior agreement, and may involve a difference in price. A change is not guaranteed and depends on what is available when you ask.
House rules
Check-in is from 3:00 p.m., and check-out is before 11:00 a.m. Each caravan has a maximum capacity of three guests; the agreed number may not be exceeded. The place is made for rest and quiet — no parties and no loud noise, out of respect for the privacy of the place and the silence around it. Smoking inside the caravan is not permitted. Bringing pets is not allowed by default, and each request is considered case by case; please message us on WhatsApp before booking to confirm. We hope you'll leave the caravan as you'd like to find it.
Accurate information
You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you give us — name, mobile number, dates, and number of guests. Any error or omission may delay or cancel your request. The guest who makes the request is responsible for their companions and for their adherence to these terms.
Limitation of liability
We do our utmost to keep the place clean, safe, and well-equipped. Even so, you remain responsible for your own safety, that of your companions, and your belongings during the stay — especially as the setting is a natural mountain environment. We are not liable for loss of or damage to personal property, nor for injuries arising from misuse, inattention, or activities beyond our control. In all cases our liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the stay in question.
Force majeure
If circumstances beyond our control prevent us from hosting you — such as severe weather, road closures, official decisions, or other events of force majeure — we will contact you as soon as possible and offer either an alternative date or a full refund. In such cases we bear no compensation beyond the value of the stay.
Privacy & data
We collect your information solely to complete your booking and to communicate with you, and we do not share it with third parties for marketing. We keep it only as long as needed to manage your booking and meet our regulatory requirements. Contact us whenever you wish to review or correct your information.
Governing law
These terms are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and any dispute arising from them falls to the competent authorities in the Kingdom. If any provision of these terms cannot be applied, the remaining provisions stay in force.
